A model of spatial expansion: this projector was designed to extend the depth of field of the schematic site map into a twelve metre zone that could be explored in great detail in three dimensions. Participants could view sections of the model by slicing the projection-space with hand held mylar screens, the easily manipulated surface of which made the model both highly tactile and easily navigable.

The 12cm depth of the model is expanded to 12m via the projector.
