DRIVE-IN MOTEL
a rest stop attached to the motorway

A loop of motorway diverging from the main lanes of traffic forms the superstructure for this roadside motel and restaurant. Individual rooms of far lighter construction slot in to the space between the massive concrete ribbons, with corresponding cars above. All look onto the restaurant, open to all travelers, with a view toward the journey ahead and the distant city skyline of Toronto.
